The Contest of the Best Sommelier in the World 2019 was held in Antwerp, Belgium, the 10th – 15th of March and the Swedish contestant was Fredrik Lindfors from Swesomm. Out of the 66 contestants from all over the world Fredrik made it into the semi-final together with 19 other sommeliers. Unfortunately he did not make it into the final, however he placed himself as the 5th Best Sommelier in the World 2019 which we are very proud of. The winner was Marc Almert from Germany, in 2nd place Nina Højgaard Jensen from Denmark and 3rd place went to Raimonds Tompsons from Latvia.
