Last Sunday marked the final of the Swedish Sommelier Championship 2023, and four Swesomm team members were competing, together with other talented sommeliers. From the team we hade Emma Ziemann, Martin Mortensen, Elliot Björkman and junior member Albert Wendesten. After many hard tasks during the quarter- and semi final it was clear that is was a very close score, and so four contestants got to compete in the final. Those four were the four Swesomm members which we are very proud of. The final ended with Emma Ziemann as the winner, for the third time (!), Albert Wendesten in second place making him a regular and not a junior member from now on, and Elliot Björkman in third place. Martin Mortensen was awarded an official forth place which has not happened before. Great job by all team members and other competing sommeliers!
